About the Role
We are seeking an associate attorney with trusts and estate experience who is eager to build a long-term career in sophisticated trusts and estates practice. This position offers significant collaboration, hands-on client interaction, and the opportunity to develop technical expertise while working alongside experienced attorneys.
Responsibilities
Assist with the design and implementation of estate plans, including elder law and Medicaid planning
Draft wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, and related documents
Participate in client meetings alongside senior attorneys
Assist in the filing of probates and administrations
Conduct legal research and analyze estate and tax planning issues
Collaborate with accountants, financial advisors, and other professionals
Continue developing technical knowledge through mentorship and ongoing education
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
Admission to practice in New York
1–3 years of trusts and estates experience (or closely related practice)
Excellent drafting and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Admission in New Jersey or Connecticut is a plus
LL.M. in Taxation is a plus, particularly when paired with practical planning experience

Compensation & Benefits
Expected salary range: $100,000–$155,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Performance-based bonuses available.
